About the Event
This course is designed for paramedics and EMTs who are attached to or work with a law enforcement team (SWAT, ESU, MIRT, TRT etc). This course is not intended to be a comprehensive tactical medical course that covers all aspects of civilian special operations but is designed as an introductory or review level course. This course builds upon the medical skills taught in a TCCC or TECC and prepares a team medic for their role through classroom, tabletop exercises, practical skill stations and scenarios. Topics covered in this course include:

- TCCC Skill Assessments
- Pharmacology
- K9 TCCC Overview
- Basic Sick Call Medicine
- Sports Medicine / Ortho Injuries
- Minor injuries
- Remote Assessment
- Medicine across the Barricade
- Civil Disturbances / Crowd Control/Mobile Field Force (MFF)
- Less Lethal Munitions and Chemical deterrents
- Armored Rescue Vehicle Introduction
This course has been approved by IBSC for meeting the recertification requirements for TP-C
