First on Scene
First on Scene is a 4-hour community emergency response course for people with no medical background. Students learn how to call for help, control severe bleeding, recognize cardiac arrest, and keep a patient stable until EMS arrives. Designed for teachers, community members, event staff, and anyone who wants to be prepared to act in the first minutes of an emergency.

Stop The Bleed®
Stop the Bleed is a 2-hour hands-on course that teaches any person to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action. Students learn to apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and apply a tourniquet. No medical background required. Appropriate for schools, businesses, houses of worship, event staff, and any organization that wants its people prepared to act before EMS arrives.

All Hazards Disaster Response
AHDR prepares EMS providers to operate effectively across the full spectrum of disaster scenarios: natural disasters, infrastructure failures, pandemics, active shooter incidents, and mass casualty events. The 8-hour course covers the National Incident Management System, triage principles, and provider safety in austere environments. Completion awards CAPCE credit.
Who it's for: EMTs, paramedics, EMS supervisors, prehospital providers
HSI Adult First Aid
A foundational adult first aid course covering recognition and response to common medical emergencies including cardiac arrest, choking, bleeding, and sudden illness. Appropriate for workplaces, schools, and individuals seeking certification in basic emergency response. Certification is issued through Health and Safety Institute.
Who it's for: General public, workplace staff, school personnel
Law Enforcement Special Operations Medic Refresher
Built for paramedics and EMTs assigned to SWAT, ESU, MIRT, or tactical response teams, this 16-hour course bridges clinical medicine with the legal and operational realities of the special operations environment. Topics include tactical medic legal considerations, K9 TCCC, pharmacology for the field, and medicine across the barricade. Not a replacement for TECC or TCCC -- a focused refresher for providers already working in that role.
Who it's for: EMS and Medical Providers Assigned to LEO Special Units
Prehospital Trauma Life Support for the First Responder
PHTLS-FR delivers the core trauma care content of the full PHTLS provider course in an 8-hour format built for firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical responders, and rescue personnel. Students learn hemorrhage control, airway management, and trauma assessment through skills stations and patient scenarios. Completion awards 8 CAPCE credits and a 4-year PHTLS-FR wallet card.
Who it's for: First Responders. Course is taught at the basic life support level.
Prehospital Trauma Life Support
PHTLS is the international standard in prehospital trauma education, developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. This 16-hour course prepares EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and other prehospital providers to assess and manage multi-system trauma patients using critical thinking as the foundation of care. Completion awards 16 CAPCE credits and is recognized by NREMT.
Who it's for: First Responders. Course is taught at the advanced life support level.
Tactical Combat Casualty Care - All Service Members (Tier 1)
TCCC-CMC is the 63-hour Tier 3 course for military medical personnel including combat medics, Navy corpsmen, and pararescue personnel deploying in support of combat operations. It covers the full scope of advanced battlefield trauma care and is the most comprehensive course in the TCCC framework.
Who it's for: Combat medics (68W), Navy corpsmen (HM), pararescue personnel (PJ), Special Forces medical sergeants (18D), and other military medical personnel deploying in support of combat operations
Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Combat Life Saver (Tier 2)
TCCC-CLS is the 40-hour Department of Defense Combat Life Saver course, built for non-medical military personnel who may be required to provide emergency care on the battlefield. The course covers hemorrhage control, airway management, IV access, and the full TCCC framework. Developed and maintained by the Joint Trauma System.
Who it's for: Non-medical military personnel, government contractors in high-threat environments
Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Combat Medic/Corpsman (Tier 3)
TCCC-ASM is the foundational 7-hour Tier 1 course that every service member is required to complete. It covers the core life-saving interventions a non-medical service member needs to keep a casualty alive until a medic reaches them. No prior medical training required.
Who it's for: All U.S. military service members regardless of occupational specialty
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
TECC is the civilian standard for emergency medical care in high-threat environments. This 16-hour course prepares EMTs, paramedics, and tactical medics to treat life-threatening injuries across three phases of care: direct threat, indirect threat, and evacuation. Completion awards 16 CAPCE credits and a 4-year TECC provider card. Required preparation for providers working with law enforcement or in active-threat response roles.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for Law Enforcement
An 8-hour course that brings the core content of the TECC provider curriculum to law enforcement officers and non-EMS first responders. Students learn tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, and the decision framework for care under fire. Designed for the officer who will be the first medical responder on scene before EMS arrives.
