Course Overview

Stop The Bleed® is a nationally recognized bleeding control course developed by the American College of Surgeons to train individuals to act quickly and effectively during life-threatening hemorrhage emergencies.

Severe bleeding can result in death within minutes. This course teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene immediately using proven techniques. Students receive hands-on instruction in direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application using approved bleeding control equipment.

The program is designed for schools, workplaces, houses of worship, community organizations, event staff, and public safety personnel. Training emphasizes confidence, rapid assessment, and decisive action during the critical minutes before professional responders arrive.

Participants leave with the skills and mindset necessary to save a life in everyday emergencies, mass casualty incidents, or unexpected traumatic events.
