Course Overview
Tactical Combat Casualty Care – All Service Members (TCCC-ASM Tier 1) provides standardized, evidence-based battlefield trauma training designed for non-medical military personnel and operational members. Endorsed by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and delivered under NAEMT guidelines, this course focuses on immediate lifesaving interventions in combat and austere environments.
Participants are trained in the three phases of TCCC: Care Under Fire, Tactical Field Care, and Tactical Evacuation Care. Instruction emphasizes rapid hemorrhage control, airway positioning, treatment of penetrating trauma, prevention of shock, and casualty movement while maintaining mission objectives and force protection.
The course prepares service members to act decisively in the first critical minutes following injury, increasing survivability on the battlefield before evacuation to higher levels of care.
Training includes hands-on skills practice and scenario-based application aligned with current Department of Defense TCCC guidelines.
